For a perfect combination of classic Tele tone and modern output, Fender outfitted the Sweetwater Mod Squad '62 Telecaster Custom with a Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 humbucker in the neck position and a Fender Custom Shop Broadcaster in the bridge position. You get all of the twang and high end sparkle the Tele has become famous for since it first appeared in 1951, plus the robust signal strength you need for different styles of music. The controls of the Fender Custom Shop Sweetwater Mod Squad '62 Telecaster Custom feature two volume controls and a single tone control that doubles as a coil-tap switch. Now you can blend your pickups to your specific taste to create tones never before available on a Tele.
