The Tele That Started It All!

The Fender Custom Shop celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the Tele with the Limited Edition Snake Head Tele. This very cool guitar is a replica of Fender's most historic and collectible instrument, namely the Telecaster prototype that Leo Fender took around to clubs, letting performers get a taste of Fender's first electric guitar. The rest, as they say, is history, as the Tele went on to become a rock and country staple. The Snake Head moniker is derived from the unique headstock shape (which sports an uncommon 3 x 3 configuration, not often seen on Fender electric guitars). Other special features include a truss rod-less neck, single Nocaster bridge pickup, a vintage-style 3-saddle pickup, and a limited-edition neck plate. The white finish has been relic'd to show years of wear and tear, and the hardware has been aged to match. The Limited Snake Head Tele is a must-have for Tele fanatics!
