Fender's American Vintage '52 Tele!

The FENDER® American Vintage '52 Telecaster® takes you back to a time when solidbody electric guitars were new, and forging music's electric future in the hands of creative artists. Sporting its famously fat maple neck, the '52 Tele® was a benchmark axe for FENDER®, and its American Vintage descendant nails the tone, vibe, and specs of the original to a tee. Drink in the buttery playability of this Tele's deliciously thick U-profile neck. Bask in the radiance of its authentic vintage twang. If '50s Teles turn you on, Sweetwater's got your axe: Fender's American Vintage '52 Telecaster®.

Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:
  • Meticulous vintage accuracy graces this guitar
  • Beauty, tone, and playability are in the details
  • The magic of Fender's American Vintage series

Panstaking vintage accuracy graces this guitar
For the American Vintage '52 Telecaster®, Fender tracked down several of the original '52s and exhaustively analyzed them to ensure a painstaking level of vintage accuracy. Every facet of the original instruments - including minute details such as curves, perimeters, radii and more - was examined, measured, evaluated, and ultimately incorporated into the American Vintage '52 Tele®. What you see in this remarkable guitar is more than the sum of its parts. It's a highly playable, eminently musical-sounding recreation of an iconic instrument that changed music forever.

Beauty, tone, and playability
With Fender's American Vintage '52 Telecaster, there's genius in the details. This remarkable guitar's beauty, tone, and playability are no accident. It starts with the classic ash body, the simple single-ply black pickguard and a thin Fender Flash Coat nitrocellulose lacquer finish in classic Butterscotch Blonde. Then, there's the fat U-profile maple neck with rolled fingerboard edges and 21 vintage style frets, a sculpted headstock volute for enhanced first-position comfort, and vintage tuner spacing for true "straight string pull" over a bone nut. Of course, you also get a vintage-style bridge with three brass saddles, and knurled chrome dome Tele control knobs. If you're a fan of early Teles the Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster is one drool-worthy axe.

The magic of Fender's American Vintage series
Since its introduction in the early 1980s, Fender's American Vintage series has been the go-to source for the last word in original-era model year guitars. With today's American Vintage guitars, Fender has gone back to the drawing board with new features, new specs and the most fanatical level of vintage accuracy yet. They've restored original tooling dies, voiced new pickups, reformulated vintage colors, and more - based on actual vintage guitars. From its flawless vintage looks, to its impeccable tone and playing feel, there's pure magic in the Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster!

This guitar can do it all in the right hands, country, blues, rock, jazz, rockabilly, and everywhere else you can wonder to. It is comfortable to play, has a great feel on the neck, The nitro finish is flawless, and the color is very vintage looking. If you want a all-purpose guitar, this is the one for you.
