Almost Too Nice to Beat Up as a Travel Guitar...almost...

I just received this little beauty last week. It arrived in prefect condition from Sweetwater to me in Northern California. I also own a Wechter T0-8424, so I am obviously very pleased with their acoustic guitars to have bought another one. I wanted something small to bring along when I go to friends or camping, etc. and more importantly, I didn't want my baby, the TO-8424, getting damaged. This little mahogany travel guitar is better than I had hoped. It is gorgeous and has a wonderful warm bright woodsie sound that just shimmers and sings with a capo. It is also capable of getting a unique almost mandolin sound that I am also enjoying very much. The Plek Pro set-up makes this, hands down, the easiest-to-play guitar that I have ever picked up. The only problem with it now is that it is so beautiful and flawlessly made that I almost don't want to bang it around outside in the extreme temps either, lol. I could get a Baby Taylor or little Martin and leave this safe at home...but then I'd have to take a step down to play those. I think I'll go ahead with my original plan and play the hell out of this one for years and not worry about getting some serious battle marks on it.

I highly recommend this model as well as any of Abe Wechter's TO-8000 series models. You won't be disappointed - happy playing ya'all!

Sweet sweet sweet

Bought this little guitar to take to Mexico and Africa on missions trips and the sound and playability are on another level from any other travel-sized guitar! The Fishman kit that's built in isn't half bad either!
With the backpack style straps on the gig bag and the great padding, I'm extremely happy with this little guy :-)
