It is essential to get your speakers up high. The TS-99B will get it up from 6' to 9' high. It was easy to raise a 43 pound speake... read more [+]r. The only slight disadvantage was having to use a small step (one foot) to stand on to get the speakers on the stand. You're starting out at around six feet to mount the speaker, so you need a little extra height. If you are careful when you unlock and turn the release, the speakers will slowly come down. Turn too quickly, and they will scare you because they come down very fast. All the Ultimate Support Stands seem to be well made. close [-]
