Tannoy TS12

Music Background:  Musition, hifi buff. music lover, all styles except: Rap, R&B HiHop

Have had the TS12 for a week or so now, Am using it with 4 Kef 104Mk2 speakers and a 500watt Musical Fidelity Amp... Great flexability and opptions to addjust it to mesh with the rest of your system.

I have only 1 very tiny thing to say in the negative, that is the Mat finish is very easily scratched, it seems it is sprayed onto a high density high impact plastic, which is a good material for speakers, esp bass.

I had some computer speakers made of the same stuff (very rigid and tonaly neutral) I feel thet Tannoy should have either texturised the plastic itself or used some primer to ensure the finish adhered to the enclosure better.

Having said that I am buying a second unit tomorrow so I can run one per channel either ends of my 6 metre square room (I know they are almost uni dirrectional) but what the hey... BOOM !

After looking at many subs,iwanted one that was strong and accuarate but gives you the feel of a good car setup sounds...this subs is awesome totally chest thumping and very nice sounding i got it down as low as 15hz...15hz amazing...i am extremely happy with my purchase..thanks sweetwater
