This amp is very flexible, the first channel is a smooth clean and soft meanwhile the second sounds very similar but with a little more gain. The third channel (overdrive 1) is perfect for classic roc... read more [+]k and a blues lead, warm tone, and the fourth channel (overdrive 2) is the hi-gain part of the amp, maybe needs a booster to get a REALLY heavy metal tone but it sounds great, lots of sustain and gain. Every channel has a Modern/Classic switch to change the voicing and get a completely different tone. Power Grid is awesome, it goes from 10 to 100 watts with just moving a switch, I can play at low leves but the valves still sound warm. The footswitch is very solid, I've drop it a few times and zero scratches, it has 6 butons: Channel 1, 2, 3, 4, FX Loop and reverb. It is connected through a 8 pin MIDI cable. The only bad thing about this amp is that is too heavy, it weighs 95 lb (43 kg aprox) so it takes one strong man or 2 weak boys to move it through stairs or put it on a car, luckily, it has 4 wheels to make our life easier. I really recommend this amp! close [-]
