Studio Microphone Refinement!
The now legendary TLM 103 was the first microphone to deliver classic Neumann quality to studios of any size. Now, the new TLM 127 brings greater flexibility with multiple polar patterns* as well as a switchable pad and high-pass filter. The "Set Z" edition (shown here) includes a professional shockmount and beautiful wooden microphone case.
The TLM 127 is a large-diaphragm studio microphone with omnidirectional and cardioid directional characteristics. In addition, via a special power supply it is possible to use remote control to switch between the five directional characteristics: omnidirectional, wide-angle cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid and figure-8.
Like the TLM 103, the TLM 127 offers exceptionally low noise and very high resolution making it possible to capture audio with clarity and precision that others only dream of providing. You already know the mic represents the most important link in your audio chain. Choose wisely. Choose the Neumann TLM 127.
*Cardioid and omni switchable on mic. Full range of five polar patterns available via optional remote control/power supply (to become available in 2004) using standard XLR cables.

For a reference point, i have a small collection of blue mics (dragonflys, baby bottle, etc). You'll find very little info out there on this particular mic. To date, i've found only two reviews / articles out there on the web....” Read More
