Chandler Limited TG2 Abbey Road Special Edition Reviews5.0/5.0 based on 4 customer reviews
I recently got my hands on the Chandler Limited TG2 Abbey Road Special Edition for a drum tracking session. I used it for my overheads, and I was really impressed by it. It added just the right amount of attitude and punch to the sound of the drums.

Sick!Yes, it's wonderful on guitars. Mojo for days. But try it on your plain vanilla microphone (TLM-103, sE Titan) and it's pure caramel. Sweet! An incredible addition to my quiver.

TG2 : ``T`` rue ``G`` lory ``2`` !!!I play and record guitar as a pro for 15 years now, and... how difficult it is to translate a rich guitar amp`s tone through the monitors in a studio... But since I got a Chandler TG2 I feel like flying in a higher level. NO MATTER WHAT I record, it sounds good!! The iron bite is unbelievable and the creamy low end always makes me smile!! Abbey Road. Period. Together, the TG2 and my Universal Audio 2-610 give me the best of both Tranny and Tube worlds ever ! And I can live with that! LOL!

I LOVE MY TG2!!!Just got a TG2 from Sweetwater (thanks Jason Koons!!) It's everything I'd hoped it would be, very creamy and smooth. I used to have to crank up the compression on my UAD 1176 to get that colored sound on my tracks, but with the TG2 I am able to use a lot less processing while mixing. I not kidding, I've found my self just plugging a Bass in the DI and needing no compression to get it to sit in the mix!! Works great with my Mojave Audio MA200, and helps darken up my Rode NT5's a bit. GREAT PRE!!
