I was lucky enough to play the expansion on a kit at NAMM this summer and I have to say ROLAND HIT A HOME RUN. The new features and kits are great. Two BIG things coming in are the cross-talk between drums (when I hit the kick, the snare rattles. It really brings the kit together hearing it resonate together). Also, the ability to have a drop clutch is great. I play a lot of hard rock with a ton of double bass. This is going to be a life saver!

nice upgrade

A nice step forward. Installation was easy. While there is are a host of small improvements, there are only a few that stand out as "wow". The bast improvement for me is how you can now manange your kits via the card utility, store many more kits on the card, and even play kits from your card. The triggering seems improved on the snare as well.
