Earthworks TC30

I have had a trio of Earthworks TC30Ks for many years ... and used them many times. I do only on-location live recordings of "legit" ensembles. Try a pair 26-30" apart, 11-14 feet high and 3-4 feet behind the conductor on orchestra or band and prepare to be amazed. I've also used them in a "wide" Decca Tree array, with excellent results. The self-noise at 27dBA is low enough for most occasions in most halls. I've a collection of more expensive and more popular microphones, but the Earthworks are really better than the rest. Awesome!
