Fantastic "does it all" electric guitar! The T5 Standard from Taylor is a hybrid of an acoustic and an electric guitar, so it's like having two guitars in one great-looking body. There's an air-coil rear pickup that can go from country twang to rock bright to full-blown humbucker. Use the T5 Dynamic neck pickup and body sensor to give your T5 Standard a shimmery, round, woody acoustic-like tone. Whatever direction you take your tone, you can use the first-class T5 preamp and EQ to adjust it midperformance - there's an unbelievably wide range of tones available in every one of the T5 Standard's switch positions.





What about its tonewoods? Taylor gave the T5 Standard a powerful spruce top, with a gentle sapele body to complement it. Spruce is known for its rich, pronounced voice - it's the perfect tonewood to take advantage of the T5's highly versatile pickup configuration. Another way Taylor gives you exceptional tone from the T5 Standard is in the very body design itself. The stylized F-holes do more than command the eye; they also enhance the resonance of the T5 Standard's body chamber, allowing the top to breathe and capture the dynamics of your heartfelt performance.
