Surprise

Overview:
1. It is lighter than I expected.
2. The tube doesn't glow as bright as the pictures suggest (that's a good thing)
3. Shock mount was made of plastic, but the mic fit snug in the holster.

Sound: I hava a Sterling ST51 condensor and the Samson C03 condenser. I had major issues with near field recordings of vocals where 'P' and 'B' syllables would peak and ruin takes. Heavy pre and post Eq settings had to be used to render a usable recording. But, the T-47, right out of the box rendered high volume, warm results. Because I could sing freely without concerns of clipping, my performance was better. Mixing was a joy this morning (I haven't had it for more than a day, yet).

At this price point you can't go wrong. Behringer gets a bad rap, but I've NEVER been dissatisfied with their products. Their mixers and processor have always yielded great results in my setups. Seriously, I got a little choked-up while mixing this morning. This mic was the missing link.
