From Our Research Team:Massive, Tweakable Fuzz Tones at Your Feet!Way Huge presents the Swollen Pickle fuzz pedal, a bright green stompbox that's full of big-sounding fuzz tone and juicy low end. The Swollen Pickle includes a Sustain control that takes you from a restrained crunch all the way to massive, stage-shaking tones, while a Filter knob makes it easy to dial in an array of great fuzz tones. Of course, Way Huge didn't stop there! They also included Scoop and Crunch controls to adjust the midrange and compression characteristics, respectively. You can even access more controls inside the Swollen Pickle pedal!Way Huge Swollen Pickle Fuzz Pedal at a Glance:
Go from mild to massive fuzz tones With a twist of the Sustain control, you're taken from mild crunch to massive fuzz, The Filter control gives you a huge range of heavily band-pass-filtered tones, distinguished by remarkable girth and sizzle, and the Loudness puts out enough volume to clobber the front end of any amp. New additions to the Pickle for added tone-tweaking Newly added features include a tone stack Scoop control that elicits a classic Swollen Pickle mid-scoop or a flat mid-frequency sweep. The new Crunch knob lets you adjust the compression intensity of the fuzz. More tweakability inside Open up the Swollen Pickle and look inside — you'll find two internal mini controls: Voice sets the intensity of the external scoop control from light to heavy mid cut, and Clip varies between two sets of clipping diodes for smooth or opened fuzz sustain. Combined with the other controls on this pedal these controls make the Swollen Pickle an amazingly tweakable pedal! Way Huge comes back to the masses Way Huge founder Jorge Tripps fired up his first Way Huge creation, the "Fuzz Box," back in 1992, and soon created a stable of amazing-sounding stompboxes with equally interesting names. Though Way Huge closed up shop in 1999, demand for these pedals continued to soar; as you'd expect, online auctions brought astronomical prices for Way Huge products. Now, Way Huge teams up with Dunlop to make their premium-quality stompboxes available to you at much more down-to-earth prices. And they're better than ever! ReviewsA Truly Awesome Fuzz
by Ryan from Chicago, IL
I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but I decided that the Way Huge Swollen Pickle is certainly worthy of one. All I will say is, I used to hate Big Muff type fuzz pedals until I tried thi... read more [+]s one. It excels at massive, gargantuan fuzz tones of course, but can do SO much more than that.March 8, 2012 Music Background: Musician Tweak around with the internal trimpots, and you can get some real nasty fuzz sounds that are reminiscent of the early Tonebenders and Fuzzfaces. The Scoop control can easily take you into metal territory if you turn it up, and the Crunch control can really smooth things out for some warm overdrivey sounds. The Filter knob is just awesome...when turned down, it adds so much bass it's almost overkill. The Swollen Pickle would work just as well on bass I'm sure, though I've never tried one through it. So much volume on tap...set the Loudness past noon, and you're already slamming your tube amp well into crunchiness. Great features, seems well built, and it's really lightweight too. What more can I say? I've had this pedal for just 2 months and I feel like I've only really scratched the surface of all the different sounds this thing has to offer. Sick, sick pedal. close [-] Sweetwater Advice

Bart GoodI have the Way Huge Swollen Pickle pedal for my Jazz Bass and it sounds amazing! Here is an inside tip and something that not a lot of people know: Trent Reznor re-amps a lot of his analog synths and drum machines through this same pedal - he is apparently a huge fan of it. Listen to it in his Oscar-winning soundtrack for "The Social Network." If you like pure analog fuzz distortion, then look no further - this is the pedal for you! Also popular
