The Super-Sonic 60 Combo wins my nomination for Fender's most versatile tube amp. Of course it has the clean channel, which has inspired like a bazillion tunes with its great reverb. Then you have the lead channel. What can I say? It does everything for blues, rock, country, and there's even some metal crunch thrown in, with nice, tight chunky low end. All that crammed into a cabinet that serious off-roaders would appreciate. Check my studio setup: one Fender Super-Sonic and one Marshall Plexi.
