I live in Philly and received these in 3 days. Sweetwater packaging would have survived almost any trauma. One strong shipping package containing 2 poles, each boxed individually and each in a heavy ... read more [+]plastic sleeve. The inner individual boxes are not ship worthy by themselves (I can picture the plastic tightening screw ends getting damaged).October 29, 2011 Music Background: I live vicariously through my father who is a 91 year old DJ at a senior center. I designed and assembled his setup. I'm not an expert, but these seem to be excellent quality. Clean, smooth finish, with my one complaint being the screw end used to mount the tightening screw bracket. It sticks out about 1/8" and is kind of sharp, I can picture the crew (of one in this case) snagging a cable, or an appendage. One possible week spot is the plastic bracket and tightening screw handle. I would prefer an all metal bracket with an "L" shaped tightening screw. Over all, I am pleased. (4.25 yippys out of 5 for On Stage and a full 5 for Sweetwater). close [-] Also popular
