The SuPRE sounds very clean, but its on the darker side. It creates a beautiful 3D image of the sound field. It tends to position audio in the background a bit (which is cool for certain things). I... read more [+] love the rear configuration with +4dBu and -2dBu connections. With the -2 you can get a more crunched sound without overloading the output. That's a really cool feature when working with room mics or OVH's on a drum kit. The DI on this thing is great! Solid build, firm switches, big sound. Only real wish is for them to use less Chinese components in its construction. This unit has failed on me several times. Inside the unit are about a dozen or so white plastic connector plugs, which for some reason come from the factory oxidized. A little deoxit and you're good to go! close [-]
