Great For Home Studio Musicians

!st of all I could've ordered this somewhere else, BUT I love you guys at Sweetwater. :) Great service no gimmicks you get what you pay for. You can call them any day of the week and ask questions BIG BIG thing 4 me. Now the Glyph 2 TB Blackbox hooked right in my Mac Mini, using the proper cables guys. I went to my finder it was right there. I tested it with recording my music, it was there everything was good. Just make sure you erase 1st kinda like formatting it really to whatever computer you're on. Set your partition up if you're trying to have it as back up as well. Don't wanna keep going but if it's TIGHT using a mac mini then...... think about it. Peace

Good Quality and speed

I had been looking for a storage solution for awhile that would be portable, fairly quick, and sturdy. That, along with Mark Magdich's help I decided on the Glyph. Considering I was needing to transfer so much stuff, both from a laptop and an external server, this worked well to transfer everything fairly fast. It is new and being used to temporarily archive photos, so I am hoping for years of good service!

Tricky to re-format

Took a while to get this item re-formatted. Instructions said to visit web site for instructions. The web site has no instructions to be found. So I ended up having to contact the manufacturer and had to be talked through a rather complicated work around. After getting it set up I must say I'm highly satisfied with the item so far.
