Best strat I have ever owned!

wow what a fat neck! but I have large hands so this neck is perfect! the build quality Is just amazing! there isn't a flaw on the outside or inside. it has the tightest neck pocket I have ever had. it actually took a little bit of a nudge to get the neck out to adjust the neck relief ;) . also there wasn't a single drop of paint in the neck pocket. nor was there a single speck of dust inside under the pick guard. the pickups sound amazing and are dead quiet in the 2 & 4 position. the tone on this guitar is HUGE, its probably because of the added neck mass. there was also no fret rattle of any kind and the intonation was dead on. fender and sweetwater did an excellent job on this one. this strat will definitely be passed down to my children one day

as a bonus AJ Becerra with sweetwater is an awesome guy and a pleasure to work with.


but there is one thing I have a complaint about. the guitar case doesn't want to stand up on its edge. G&G got the halves a bit misaligned so it tips over with just a slight breeze. the case also feels allot lighter and lower quality than the 1984 vintage reissue case I have. but its just a case and it will still do its job.

Fender Vintage Hot Rod '62 strat

This is a Great strat and a pleasure to play! The neck on this Baby is Awesome! The pickups have that "Sweet" vintage tone! The saleman... Austin was Great to work with! Will buy again in the future. Thanks much! Steve

Yes very nice guitar. Neck is nice once you get the feel of it. Has excellent tone. Finish is very thin so be careful with it. the normal poly coat is much more durable compared to nitro.

olympic white vintage hotrod 62!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is my first strat.
i can't say anything comparative because i've nothing to compare it to. does it play like a 62? i don't know. does it sounds like a 62? beats the hell out of me? does it have the similar appointments to a 62? damned if i know, but i do know that it's the perfect color and i love what i hear and the distinctive quacky spank and the way it feels in my hands and the enjoyment i get when i play tells me that this thing is good.

it's a hot rod so all it needs now is flames.
