I wish that Fender would have better QC on the MIMs, I haven't played one yet that I would walk out of the store with. I'm really impressed with the noiseless pups on this guitar, and the neck finish is silky smooth, and love the vintage style pick guard and finish. Definitely a keeper! close [-]

I walked into my local guitar store looking for a fender strat. I told them the price I was looking for and they said that I could always get a MIM, but that I should play this vintage modified first.... read more [+] I admit, I was skeptical, but this guitar blew me away. The neck is super smooth and extra lacquered, the action is great, the tone superb. The pickups are duncan designed and you can get better tone out of this guitar's stock setup than any MIM I've ever played. The guitar just feels great in your hands, and as soon as you pick it up, you can feel that it is a true strat and not a cheap knock-off. A great buy at a superb price. Go for it unless you can't live without 'Fender' on the headstock. close [-]
