I am very satisfied with the guitar I purchased. It is everything I had hoped for. I had a silvertone guitar which is no comparison to my Squire. OK, I confess to actually trying, in good conscience, to rate this guitar at less than 5 starts, and I just couldn't.September 2, 2010 Music Background: Pro Musician I am playing this through a Zoom G2 straight into my PA. It sounds phenomen... read more [+]al. The neck is fast, and the humbucker really screams. I play jazz, bossa nova, R&B, and rock, and this guitar handles all of those styles easily. I can go from a smooth jazzy tone on the neck pickup to a distorted rock sound on the humbucker. Between this guitar and the Zoom G2 I can get any sound I need, and at a nice price point. The Zoom G2 has an acoustic guitar amp emulation which just sparkles with this guitar on any of the single-coil pickup settings. BTW, I own seven guitars, including a Gibson SG, an Ibanez AF 105NT, and an Ibanez RG 550. I have lately been playing this guitar more than any of the others. It is very versatile. The fit and finish is great...really nice quality work. My only caveat is: do not use heavy gauge strings on this guitar. Stick to .09 or .10 high E. close [-]
