Customer Reviewsfrom Fort Wayne April 5, 2009 Music Background: for fun Smokin dealIt is always difficult to find left handed instruments at a fair price. This, however, is a fantastic guitar for the money. The overall build quality and fit and finish is very good. I have a sunburst model with a rosewood fingerboard, and I find the playability much better than any mexican strat that I have ever played. What makes this guitar really unique is the alnico pickups. They are not super high output, but the sound great, and give the guitar a very unique sound. You can get a killer strat sound through any tube amp. This guitar through my twin reverb has tons of tone and funky soul, and it costs about 700 dollars less than an american standard strat, which helps me stay married. It also has knife edge bridge which gives a very nice vibrato action. Twenty years ago guitars in this price range were made of plywood with necks that felt like baseball bats, and electronics that were just trash. One final note. Do not confuse this with the entry level Squire bullet strats. This is much higher quality guitar, with the alnico pickups. Very, very cool guitar.from Cincinnati January 30, 2012 Good starter guitarI really like the guitar so far. I am a beginner and it seems perfect for me. I really don't know how far I'll advance, but I think it will suit me for a long time. I think it has a great sound!!
