Born in the '50s, Strats became even cooler after years of use (and abuse) on the road - morphing over time to look appealingly battered and feel even better than when they were brand new. Fender's new maple fretboard Road Worn '50s Strat delivers that aged look and feel. It's built to look, sound, and feel like it's got more than just a few miles on it! This Stratocaster is designed with 1950s specs, including a nitrocellulose lacquer finish. And this guitar backs up those authentic looks with great playing feel and the kind of tonality you'd expect from a pick-of-the-litter vintage instrument.

Designed to give you the kind of clear, transparent highs you want from a Stratocaster while adding increased output and warmth, Fender's Tex-Mex single-coil pickups add a little kick to your tone when you need it. These classic-looking pickups use Alnico 5 magnets and work just like standard Strat pickups. They provide the perfect complement to this great guitar!
