AWESOME!!

My experience started with emails and a phone call from a company rep. He was of course knowledgeable but was incredibly friendly and helpful. We got our new guitar and amp within a few days and it's awesome!! More beautiful than the picture!! Everything was in perfect working condition and was of highest quality.
This was our first order with Sweetwater, but it won't be the last!! :)

Incredible Bang for the Buck here

I must admit. I kept hearing a voice in my head saying "If it sounds too good to be true....."
But, I decided to go for it. I bought 2 packs,in Sunburst, for my 2 grandsons. My 9 year old was THRILLED, upon opening it, on Christmas morn. The 7 year old....not so much. So I figured I would return his Squier Pack. Well, I decided to keep his, for myself. Here's why.
First let me explain, that I own high end guitars, custom shop and vintage. I know guitars. These Strat SE are NOT pieces of crap, as I expected. They are a SUPERB entry level guitar. EVERYTHING about this package surpassed expectations. The tuners, pickups, set-up,stand,strap and clip on guitar tuner are of higher quality than I expected. I'll be keeping the other set, for me to bring, worry free, on vacation etc.
Oh yeah....one last thing...the amp. A little Squier SP-10. I read many reviews where users slandered this little amp. As I prefaced my guitar review, let me say. I own vintage, Vox, Fender, Recent Fender as well as boutique amps. This little amp, is MORE than adequate, as a starting point. It is VERY noise free, and has a VERY decent clean tone. It too, has a higher quality build, than I expected it would. And it has a headphone jack.
This package, with guitar, amp,tuner,stand, cord,and strap...and a DVD tutorial is........the best guitar deal, on the PLANET!!!

Amazing student guitar

This guitar is perfect for a beginner. I have over 30 students a week and I always recommend this guitar... I've bought over 50 of them by now - for real!
Overdrive on the amp absolutely sucks though.... clean is fine. Guitar is very playable, and is the perfect priced package!

got this as a gift about three years ago, first guitar. been learning steadily and am really impressed with the durability of this thing. i'd like to put on a new set of tuners and getting the intonation set right is tough. excellent guitar for someone just starting out.
