I got this for christmas last year and am still loveing it. It's great because everything is there to start with, your not lost and wondering what else you should get. Mine didn't come with a tuner unfortunately but luckily I knew what to get. I traded my G-DEC amp to one of my friends who was starting out for a Marshall MG10CD and he likes it way more than the Marshall...and I liked it to but I love my Line 6 way more. The G-DEC is nice because it has alot of different effects to choose from, a drum machine, and I believe an iPod jack...I was a bit annoyed with all the effects after awhile but that's just me. I recommend this to anyone who wants to start guitar.

After being away from elecrtric guitars for many years, I recently purchased this guitar package to teach my grandson how to play. My Ibanez acoustic guitar was to difficult on his fingers, and knowing the past quality of Fender-made guitars, I thought this would be the ideal learners guitar for him. After playing this guitar myself, I decided to KEEP IT and get him another one! I can't believe the rich, vibrant sound coming from this guitar. Outstanding! I highly recommend this guitar to beginners, novice players and experienced professionals. All the quality you come to expect from Fender is included in the Strat-Pak!
