One Really Versatile Guitar

I absolutely love this guitar & It is way more versatile than I could have imagined. The finish is awesome and the Texas Specials are really cool. Since Stevie Ray used them, I can only imagine this could be an incredible blues guitar. My Sales Engineer, Ryan Wiltermood has been so helpful as this is the second guitar I have purchased from him. He has given me great advice and has provided tremendous insight. Much appreciated, Ryan. This will not be my last purchase from him or the Sweetwater group. No other company does what these folks do. They are cutting edge and they put the customer first. I won't buy my gear anyplace else.

I love this guitar and it was worth the wait

I love this guitar, it plays like a dream and sounds even better. I love the looks, the feel and sound. Thanks to Stuart for working so hard to get this to me by X-mas. Can't believe the case, strap, and the extras your get for the price. The guitar is beautifully finished, with one minor chip by the strap button, but I have heard that that happens, must be the wood, the ash is light, one of the lightest electrics I own. This guitar is a lot of bang for the buck and well worth the wait. I may even order a second. Anything sounds good on this, but the Knopfler songs really sound great!!

Excellent Guitar

This guitar plays like a dream after some minor setup adjustments. Has a great neck, comfortable Strat body. I like the vintage tuners. The guitar holds its tune very well. Fit and finish were perfect on mine. It resonates better than any of my other Strats. I really like the Texas Special pickups when I am playing with overdrive and distortion. I dont like them as well played clean. They are a little too hot for clean tones to my ears. Not that it has a bad clean sound, just not my idea of a pristine clean tone on a Strat. Still overall an excellent guitar, beautifully crafted, with an awesome red nitro color. Sweetwater was quick to ship as I ordered on Saturday evening and received it on Tuesday.
