You're looking at Serial #MX11324326 We provide these photos so that you can see the EXACT guitar we have available to ship. From Our Research Team:Custom Shop Quality at an Affordable Price!Fender's Classic Player Series instruments, including the Classic Player '50s Strat®, the Classic Player '60s Strat® and the Classic Player Baja Telecaster® guitars, are the result of a collaboration between Fender's world renown Master Builders, and the company's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, offering Custom Shop features at a modest price. With decades of combined guitar building experience, FENDER® Custom Shop Master Builders Dennis Galuzka, Gregory Fessler and Chris Fleming were tasked with creating their own "dream list" of specifications for these new Classic Series instruments. No ideas would be off limits, and no feature would be excluded in creating these customized and affordable guitars. What they came up with were features such as the '69 pickups, custom 2-point vintage bridge and 12" fingerboard radius on Gregory Fessler's Classic Player '60s Strat®.Fender Classic Player '60s Stratocaster® At-a-Glance
Classic Strat Design Though the original Stratocaster was first introduced more than 50 years ago, it's more popular now than ever. The Classic Player Series instruments take the best of the Stratocaster of the '60s and merges it with Custom Shop touches. The sleek, select alder body is covered with a classy Sonic Blue and a jewel-like polyurethane finish. Each Classic Player '60s Strat features a special matching pickguard. In this case, the 3-color Sunburst finish is beautifully complemented with a 3-ply mint green pickguard along with special aged plastic parts. Special features include '69 pickups, "Custom Shop Designed" neckplate, custom two-point vintage bridge (never before offered outside the Custom Shop) and a 12" fingerboard radius. Trademark Strat Sound The original Strat had three single coil pickups, but the Classic Player '60s Strat utilizes 3 Custom '69 single-coil pickups so you get instant access to all those classic, glossy Strat tones with a simple flick of the five-position blade switch. The Classic Player '60s Strat also incorporates a unique wiring scheme, with the Number Four Position enabling a neck and bridge pickup configuration. Pickup Switching 5-Position Blade:
Fast Playing "C" Maple Neck Leo Fender wasn't afraid to "think outside the box" when it came to guitar designs - after all, he was an engineer, not a guitar player. In the 1950s and well into the 1970s, the blond natural maple neck became almost synonymous with Fender guitars. This Classic Player '60s Stratocaster has a one-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with a "C"-shape and 12-inch radius. The final touch is in the gloss polyurethane finish that makes this one of the fastest playing Strats on the planet! Fender Classic Player '60s Stratocaster Features:

First of all, this is the best strat I've ever played that includes American, Japanese & Mexicans. I've played all kinds of strats in the last 17 years and this is by far the best on I've ever played... read more [+]. There's not one flaw in the finish or setup. And with the fender custom shop '69 pickups there's not one flaw tonally. I did add a set of Dimarzio trem springs (5). They're a little bigger springs than stock and I use D'Addario 11s. I didn't have to set it up. The action and intonation was perfect out of the box and remained so after my minor upgrades. I absolutely love the vintage styling of this guitar. From the aged white parts and mint green pickgaurd to the two point trem and vintage style tuners (why aren't these used on every guitar? It's a great design).. The neck is huge for a Fender. It's the most comfortable neck I've ever played and that includes many Ibanez prestige, Gibson LP, Charvel San Dimas and Jim Root Tele. I don't know if I just happen to get the jewel off the assembly line or if all of these are like mine, but I'm in hooked on it and it quickly became my workhorse. For Blues and classic rock to country this guitar covers all the bases and the noise is very low of the single coils. Actually, plugged into the same amp with the same settings this guitar is quieter than the EMGs in the Jim Root Tele. I could go on and on about this strat, but pick one up for yourself if you're looking for a new strat and don't have 3K for a custom shop. The Classic Player series is awesome! Highly Recommend! close [-]

Pros: Fantastic sounding pick-ups, beefy neck with impressive fretwork, ships set-up for 10-46's,unique color/pickguard combination.October 10, 2006 Music Background: Diciple of Tone Cons: Chipped nut, big gap in bass side neck pocket. ... read more [+] I'm impressed overall with this guitar. I wasn't expecting a high-quality MIM guitar as I'm spoiled by my 04'American Deluxe HSS Strat and a 96'MIJ 68'RI, but this axe has some mexi-mojo goin' on. The 69'pups are keepers for sure and the neck is a beefy, very playable C carve. It's quite a bit thicker than my American Deluxe neck and the maple has a nice vintage tint, not pale white like MIM Strats. The fretwork is surprisingly good as well with no buzzes or dead spots. Overall tone is pure Strat and each pup position offers a distinct voice. One other thing; the Sonic Blue color is sweet. If your interested in a "60's" style Strat, but want a little more guitar than the Classic Series 60's Strat and don't want to throw-down 1400.00+ for one of the upper end vintage reissues, this is a good model to look at. close [-] Also popular
