Premium ash and maple tone woods
The Fender Custom Deluxe Stratocaster utilizes premium woods in all aspects of the guitar. You'll love the lightweight ash body, especially after those all-night gigs. The AAA quilted maple top is sure to be admired by the guys in your band and the audience at each gig.

A neck meant to be played
The select tone woods don't stop with the body, the AA flamed maple neck, rosewood fretboard, and large C shape neck plays smooth and fast, you won't be able to keep your hands off it. The 6105 frets play fast and smooth, while the large C neck gives you something to really dig into. The neck is an integral part of the tone production on the Fender Custom Shop 2012 Custom Deluxe Stratocaster.

Abigail Ybarra hand-wound pickups
In the early '60s Abigail Ybarra started winding pickups at the Fender Guitar facility. Her pickups have gone on to become some of the most sought after by collectors the world over. Many of the most famous Strats in music history have had "Abby" pickups in them. Abigail now works winding pickups for the Fender Custom Shop, and this Custom Deluxe Stratocaster features a set of these unique and in demand pickups.
