Great axe

Just recieved this guitar yesterday! First of all the photos dont do it justice. It has a beautiful finish, mine was flawless. I will probably swap the knobs for chrome ones to match the harsware/pickups and
not a big deal but if I had my choice id prefer a matte finshed neck rather than the glossy finish on this.. It was setup nicely from the factory as many others have commented but for my taste a couple minor tweaks were in order, slightly dropping the action and putting .10s on it. The trem came floating also, I plan to lower it to the body to allow me to tune drop d without affecting tuning.
As for the sound.. it has great tone, as good as any other guitar Ive ever owned, not only can I get classic fender twang, clean and bluesy tones but It has a great Rock/hard rock tone in the bridge position, warm and articulate. The neck feels really great as well. However, If I were playing hardcore Metal (which im not, I play mostly rock/hard rock) Id prob swap pickups to something a bit more aggressive. But they seem perfect for me and give me all the tones ill ever need.
Overall I love the Blacktop, Mexican or not its a top quality instrument for a steal, I doubt you can find a more versatile, well built, tone monster like this for 450 bucks! I may even Buy another one!
