A Futuristic Strat with Classic ComfortGet your hands on the American Deluxe Strat® V Neck for a playing experience like no other. This amazing new Strat combines a classic '50s V-shaped neck with an ultra-smooth compound-radius maple fretboard, for a feel that's unbelievably playable. Not only does the American Deluxe Strat V Neck give you the support you need, but its compound-radius design and beveled neck heel make fretting chords and bending strings across the whole neck effortless. Add to that the American Deluxe Strat V Neck's lightweight, custom-contoured Alder body, and you've got a comfortable axe you'll never need (or want) to put down.
But the feel is only the beginning. The American Deluxe Strat V Neck also comes equipped with a completely updated set of electronics. A classic 3-position blade pickup selector and an S-1 switch let you get the most from this Strat's 3-pickup configuration — and these aren't just ordinary pickups! All three of the American Deluxe Strat V Neck's pickups are Fender's new N3 Noiseless™ pickups. N3s give your guitar all of the bite and warmth of a classic single-coil, but without the hum! Top it off with amazing hardware, including staggered cast/sealed locking tuners and a 2-point synchronized American Deluxe tremolo bridge with pop-in arm, and you've got an unbelievable deal on a custom-style axe.

by KC from Midwestern USI really found this to be the best production Strat out there. It combines the comfortable feel of an older classic model Stratocaster (sans the god-awful cosmetic relicing) with the tonal versatility... read more [+] of the modern switching system and staggered locking tuners to maintain tuning stability. The soft-V neck is not a radical departure from the standard neck profile - perhaps the compound radius makes it seem like a more subtle difference - but it really does help to minimize fret-hand fatigue after hours of constant playing. Simply put, this is a remarkable guitar. close [-]

Love This Thing!!!
by Brandan fromI've had this guitar for about 6 months, and I really love the feel of this guitar!! Feels great, plays great, and is really just an all around amazing guitar. With that being said, however, I did c... read more [+]hange out the Bridge pickup for a little higher gain one. The N3 is great, however didn't have quite the bite I was looking for in a bridge pickup. The push-push pot adds a whole new level of sound to this guitar, however I have not really found a practical use for it quite yet. The middle and neck pickup are lush and sound fantastic, and are thick and creamy (and because they are the N3 noiseless, no hum!!). I do wish the fretboard went up to 24 frets and were jumbo frets (coming from an Ibanez prestige to this), however I knew buying this that I wouldn't have as many frets. The neck is really smooth, as I don't like the Modern "C" shape of most strat necks, that's why I went with the V neck version. Overall it's a great guitar, and you're looking for a slightly thinner neck than the usual strat, and want the N3 noiseless, go for this one! close [-]
