Great guitar!

I tried many guitars before deciding on this Strat. I love the wide variety of tones that the S1 switching gives and the variable neck feels perfect to my fingers. Setup was great and ready to play out of the box. The wine color is a little darker than it appears in the photos--it's sort of a black cherry/deep red wine, but I love it. I expect to play this guitar for decades to come.

amazing instrument

I waited for 5 months for this guitar and man was the wait worth it! Set up is perfect, tone is pure Strat chimeyness and the S1 switching is very usable. The ash body is beautiful and the wine transparent finish is killer. I love the compound radius neck and it allows for bending pleasure wherever you're at on the fretboard. Even came with a nice Fender strap and strap locks. I played it for 7 hours the day it arrived from Sweetwater. (wife and kids out of town :) I waited a long time for this guitar and she'll be with me the rest of my life. Awesome!
