Customer Reviewsfrom San Jose, CA December 28, 2010 Music Background: Played pro for years. Pedal works well. These pedals work so well and so does the amplitube guitar modeling software. I have tried many of them, and they all have special things about them. The Stealth Pedal is ready to enable and play after plugging the USB in. The wah goes to town. Can't go wrong with this one. It helps you control the pedals that are in the Amplitube software. from Colorado April 6, 2010 Music Background: Engineer, Bass, Hobbyist Great Guitar/Bass InterfaceGood input section for a small home studio. I like the ease of setup and portability. Balanced outs are great. Amplitube X gear software is nice as you can access all your other IK sounds and SVX. I use it for all my itunes and dvd sound output to the monitors too. I'm considering adding an outboard preamp for this setup.from McRae December 16, 2009 Music Background: Pro This & That A Must Have for Amplitube Product UsersFirst, let me say that I only give 4-1/2 stars as I'm not a true guitarist (I'm a multi-instrumentalist with a studio), and I've only used this product for a few weeks, and am still waiting to see how this pedal holds up. Having said that, I feel this is a great product that is an indispensable piece of gear with the Amplitube products, which by the way, I own all of the Amplitube products - Metal, Amplitube 2, Ampeg SVX, Hendrix, and Fender. The pedal feels sturdy and solid, and the routing options are great, plus USB hookup is a snap. I was up & running in no time with Amplitube X-Gear. Having the options to hook-up both an alternate expression pedal and a dual foot switch is a huge plus since switching parameters within Amplitube isn't always the easiest of efforts on the fly. Plus, you've got a headphone output, input gain knob, stereo in-outs, and you can adjust the variables on the pedal through X-Gear. Some might think this is a lot of money for a foot pedal, but it's worth the money if you do a lot of playing or recording with Amplitube products. I had a kid track a killer solo recently, and he wanted to utilize a wah pedal, but neither of us had one at the time. The Stealth pedal was due to arrive later that week. We tracked the solo anyway, and after I got the Stealth hooked up, I went in and bounced the guitar track to another track while "wah-ing" the solo after the fact, and it turned out superb! Ahh, the joys of digital editing and overdubbing! Being able to add 'wah' after the fact without changing the tone within the Amplitube patch was cool! I'm not sure how this pedal would hold up on the road, but I suspect it will last me a few years (or more hopefully) as I intend to primarily use it in the studio. If you use Amplitube and don't want to foot the bill for their larger board, then get this pedal. The Amplitube products speak for themselves, and I use them on just about every project I produce. I would think the folks at IK Multimedia have hit a home-run with a product that makes their Amplitube line much more creative, efficient and user-friendly.
