Solid, well-made... Alesis rocks! When this pedal arrived I was actually surprised- it was so much more than I had expected. It's rugged and well-crafted- a real chain-drive pedal with a compact beater/trigger configuration. I hooked it up with a DM-5 and Control Pad to make a compact teaching-kit at my studio.
I usually order from another company (out of habit) but this was a Sweetwater exclusive so I "took a chance" and they really delivered in every way!

Now that's what I'm talking about!Alesis seems to be stepping it up with every new product release.. no longer will it cost an arm and a leg to acquire QUALITY products at an affordable price. I am a big fan of this company, and I will continue to support them.
The Stealthkick triggers well, seems to be well made and is about the same volume as the Roland KD7, not terribly loud but not quiet either. The pedal is 'ok', although you can easily use any pedal that you own with it if you aren't happy with how the supplied pedal feels. You would do this by swapping out your beater with the inverted beater that comes with the Stealthkick pedal. It's small footprint and relatively low cost makes the Stealthkick to be easily incorporated into multi pedal setups (which is what I intend to do in the near future).

Great deal, works with many kits!I was worried about finding another kick pad for my dd501 drum set, after it failed. After searching forever trying to find an OEM replacement I almost decided to give up, and then I found the Alesis StealthKick.
This is a great pedal, which works with many electric drums, as long as they use a 1/4" jack I suppose. I am so glad I found this pedal/pad combo. For this price the product is a STEAL!

i do it all.
KILLER AND CHEAP.This turns out to actually be a good foot pedal. I am a guitar player by trade but have always played my drummers sets, haha. I can get more done with my foot using this than any of the other real foot pedals i have tried. having said that, of course i don't know what i am talking about. But maybe that in itself is a great point. If you aren't really a drummer (my only percussion is an alesis percpad) this pedal is real enabling. i sound like a real drummer when i plug it in as a trigger to the perc pad.. i am QUITE SURPRISED, i ordered it on saturday and i got it on MONDAY.

Kick trigger that kicks...Adjustable, nicely velocity sensitive, natural counterweight feel. Looks like it's built to last...mostly cast metal parts. Works with my Yamaha DD65. I also have their RealHat pedal, which makes my DD65 feels about as close as it's going to feel to a real kit. Great value.
