Customer Reviewsfrom Phila, PA May 24, 2011 Music Background: Professional Try RA alsoGreat sounding eastern instrument. I liked RA better because it had a more rounded source of instruments then Silk. If you are looking for specalized eastern instrument Silk is great.from Nashville, TN May 7, 2009 Music Background: composer The next step in ethno librariesThis is simply a must-have for anyone who needs more than the standard "ethnic" library. While most libraries are a "jack of all trades", getting lots of decent sounding instruments (but mastering none), this library focuses on taking a few instruments, from three regions, and making them extremely expressive and playable. This is now the first library I open when I've got an ethnic cue to score. If I've got any complaints, there were a few installation hoops to jump through to get the library up and running. I'm not too keen on dongles, but I guess they're a necessary evil in this market. Once it's up, however, it fits right in with all the other "play" libraries. The convolution reverbs sound great and the auto-tuning goes a long way toward getting a really authentic sound out of the instrument. Honestly, this and Storm Drum 2 are the best efforts from Eastwest yet. I can't wait to see what's coming next! from Saugerties, NY May 27, 2011 Music Background: Hip Hop/R&B Music Producer, Recording Engineer As Smooth As SilkThe sound quality of these instruments are amazing. They add such a great and unique dimension to my music production. A lot of singers want to have a unique sound and style. This is definitely the way to reach that goal. East West Quantum Leap has done it again!!!
