Nice iPad mount for a studio but not for the road. Difficult to adjust and delicately built. For road use, I recommend the iKlip. Simpler design and rugged.

this stand is ok if you set it once and don't need to adjust it very often.October 1, 2011 Music Background: holds the iPad in a sturdy frame that's not going to drop the iPad out if you tip it the wrong way or push on it. ... read more [+]/> the design for how it attaches to your mic stand is awful. the tension ring for the ball joint is small and difficult to turn. the ball joint on mine separated after three weeks use and while the ball joint will still clamp and hold it firmly in one direction, the iPad holder will now rotate freely on the ball joint. the weight of a cable plugged into the iPad now makes it sag to one side, and there's nothing I can do to fix it save coat it in some heinous adhesive and hope it sticks. would be a great stand with some engineering revisions. close [-] Poor design. Fragile.

No convenient way to store between use. It is bulky and prone to breakage. I am now using "TheGigEasy" iPad mount. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this product.
