Customer Reviewsfrom Central Iowa December 3, 2010 Music Background: Live Sound Tech Samson has me hooked. What can I say? When it comes to power amplifiers for my sound systems, I'm a Samson fanatic (I own 5 of them). I was originally drawn to Samson amplifiers because of their balanced aesthetics (I know, not the best reason to base a purchasing decision on). But the clean sound, features, reasonable price, and reliability made an instant believer out of me.The 10 segment LED makes it easy to adjust the amp for maximum output while staying in the "safe zone". I prefer using the 1/4" balanced input connectors, but RCA unbalanced jacks are also provided. The variable-speed fan insures that the amp stays cool. The protection circuitry also works great, as I found out when one of my speaker cables shorted out. The only thing on my "wish list" is Speakon output connectors as I've had the 1/4" plugs pull out when running other wires to the rack. I make up my own speaker cables so switched to banana jacks and have had less problems, but Speakon should be the standard for all amplifier outputs. That's the only thing that kept from giving this amp a 5.
