THE Talkback solution

Highly recommended. This is a great solution for clean switching to different XLR channels. VERY RUGGED. There's no popping/clicking/padding when pressing the switch. It doesn't affect the signal quality at all. And there is no bleed-through to B when A is active. That was a problem with the ProCo Panic Buttons that I first used for this purpose.

We use six of these boxes on our main platform in the Prayer Room, and are switching out the ProCo Panic Buttons in our Multipurpose room with these as well. If you want durability, we have tested and approved them-- we have worship teams on the platform 24/7-- I've had no problems with the whirlwind SelectorXL. Each of our main positions (worship leaders, prayer leader, drums) have one. Microphones are run through this box with output A going to FOH and active on default. Output B goes to a separate 'Talkback' mixer (Soundtech and these six positions are mixed and the output from the'Talkback' mixer goes to a channel on our Avioms with everyone using in-ear monitors). It's set up to switch from A to B on momentary, so that when a person steps on the switch they are sending to Output B. This works wonderfully, allowing the team to talk to each other without the room being aware. A huge help for spontaneous changes and transitions.
