The Peavey Sanpera II foot controller is the greatest tool for the Vypyr! I can easily switch between hundreds of presets, and it's extremely simple for your on-the-fly changes. With a quick depress of the left pedal you get an accurate tuner, and on the right, controllable Wah! If you play a Vypyr, and you want to get the most out of your amp, you really need the Sanpera II!

Necessary for Vypyr!

If you've got a vypyr you need this! Makes your amp 50x easier to use. Looper and the effects at the tip of you toes!...I will say that activating my right side pedal kind of requires stomping on the darn thing but I'm sure it's not a problem with all of them.

Amost Perfect!

Purchased Sanpera II over Sanpera I after reading unfavorable reviews of the cheaper pedal. My only real nagging complaint over the pedal is the fact that changing modes on the footpedals is dodgy at best. When I first got it, hard as I tried, I could not get the pedal to change into the other mode by pressing on the toe. Then, I saw on Youtube where guys were taking the bottom plate off and adjusting a screw for each pedal that allowed it to make better contact with the tiny switch that changes the mode. Beware! It is very difficult to do this since any adjustment can throw it off the other way. Best to use small 1/4" turns to do it. I still haven't got it to my preference and there are a lot of screws. Try taking the bottom plate off and put the unit on a surface that would most likely represent your on stage playing surface, probably hard, make adjustments, place unit on plate without screwing it in and try it out. Be carefull not to let the plate touch any of the interior innards of the unit. Turn off amp while monkeying with the plate. Maybe you'll find your sweet spot before I do. Otherwise, good pedal. This information is not available in the manual since it is an undocumented feature. Good Luck!
