I am very impressed with this guitar. The neck feels perfect in your hand and is very fast. The tones are excellent, especially on the clean channel. The clean tone blew me away with the amount of ... read more [+]clarity of each note. Not even my Gibson Les Paul sounds this clean. When playing with high gain, the Seymore Duncans Roar. If you like 80's hair metal, Classic or modern heavy rock, this is the axe for you. The guitar has excellent sustain, the notes keep ringing and ringing up and down the fretboard. Bends are easy and ring out for days. I think Charvel has a winner with this one. My only suggestion would be for Charvel to use the easy loading Floyd Rose set-up rather than the original, but I guess thats a preference thing. The only other negative I can think of is the truss rod adjustment is hidden in the guitar. I think you need to take the neck plate off to get to it. This is no biggie, as I always bring my guitars to a pro to make any adjustments. close [-]

Its not quit the American made San D, but very close. Its finish in top notch and the best feeling neck i've had played in a long time. Only complaint is that the action is too high. I could not low... read more [+]er the action , without having a guitar tech to shim the neck. Without the shim, the Floyd Rose would set on the body. Once the action was tune in,,,the guitar plays like a beast, with no fret buzz. It is a very hot sounding guitar with a good balance of Mids and Bass. Having the pickups mounted to the body, the JBs come alive and The 59s have a sweet clean sound. A great pickup combo. Very pleased with the purchase. This is a solid guitar. close [-]
