The Alesis SamplePad lets you expand your percussion rig with your own unique sampled sounds. You get 25 built-in percussion and electronic drum sounds, and you can load your own sounds from a standard SD card onto the four velocity-sensitive pads. You can also add an external trigger or switch pedal. Finding the sound you're looking for is as simple as hitting the pad you want to change and dialing in the sound you want. Essential sounds onboard
The Alesis SamplePad comes loaded with a collection of acoustic and electronic drum and percussion sounds that you'll be glad to own. These sounds are essentials any percussionist should have - and you can mix them in with your own samples, assigning each one to your pad of choice or to the kick input. You'll find SamplePad's onboard sounds the ideal compliment to your drum kit.

Just hit the pad you want to change, dial in the sound you want, and you're gold! The Alesis SamplePad is small enough to fit almost anywhere - so it's ideal if you're a drummer who wants to incorporate sampled sounds into your rig. Hey, it's just like adding another drum to your setup. Simply mount the SamplePad on a snare stand or connect it to any stand or rack using Alesis's Module Mount (available separately). For studio use, just place the SamplePad on a tabletop.
