Ground-shaking Wattage, Active Control The Mackie SWA2801z active dual PA subwoofer packs a powerful punch that can round out your sound system's performance. The beefy SWA2801z's onboard amplifier pumps 800 watts through two 18" woofers to move maximum air, while its active electronics control and monitor EQ, crossover and system protection functions. This quality sub's enclosure features solid wood construction, and it's built with several different placement options in mind so you can put it where it works best. Mackie SWA2801z Active Subwoofer at a Glance: Enclosed 800-watt amplifier Active control, built-in crossover A variety of placement options Solid wood cabinet construction 800-Watt integrated amplifier The SWA2801z's 800-watt onboard amplifier sits atop a large heatsink, which eliminates the need for fans and extends the SWA2801z's life expectancy. Active control, built-in crossover The active control you need, all in one box. An onboard active system controls the crossover filters, equalization, protection for the transducer and electronics, and monitors the entire system, while a built-in crossover routes the high frequency content to the high-pass output jacks. A subwoofer level control lets you adjust the balance between the SWA2801z and full-range speakers. A variety of placement and attachment options No matter where or how you need to place it, the SWA2801z will work for you. It's designed to sit on the floor, either upright or on its side, and pole mounts are provided on the top and on one side of the SWA2801z, allowing you to mount active or passive loudspeakers in several different configurations. Solid cabinet construction You know the rigors of load-ins and load-outs can be hard on speaker enclosures. So does Mackie.
