I had the chance to use the Samson Airline Horn Mic for the first time at a Coffee House Gig last Friday. What a blast! September 1, 2005 Music Background: Usually, I'm tethered to a mic, facing in one direction, at one... read more [+] level. My sound levels go from distorted to faint. My bassist/guitarist bandmate gets to move around and interact spontaneously. Now, I can face him for interchanges, walk off the stage into the audience, and raise the horn up for those big notes. The mic is solid, and works well with both my alto and my soprano. Battery life is good, and hookup is easy. My bandmate wrote me today and gave the mic an A+. I give it a solid A. My only complaint is that the mic is so sensitive that it picks up key noises easily. But this is not noticeable at all in a mix. Great job, Samson! close [-]
