The only one thing that threw me off a little was the length of the fretboard. This is a 24-fret neck and as a result I find myself reaching for the lower frets a little. The extra frets are completely unnecessary and mostly take-away from the playability of the instrument. If you can find one of these with a shorter neck, I advise you to buy it.
I am already getting use to it!
Becasue I am a lefty, I add to order the universal case separately. That case weight is excessive! The bass is not particularly heavy, but put it in the case and it is quite a load.
Bottom-Line: I am really glad I bought it. I love the extra low notes and I love having a close-note E on the B string. close [-]
I LOVE it!
by Valerie from Hartford, CTThis bass replaced my Ibanez soundgear as my main bass. It has a rich sound for the style of music I play. I want to get a 4 string just like it.
