Developed under license from Solid State Logic, the SSL 4000 Collection plug-in suite models the classic compression, EQ, and channel strip that made the SSL 4000 such a popular console. This bundle includes the G-Master Bus Compressor (based on the center compressor of the SL 4000 G), the SSL G-Equalizer 4-band EQ, the G-Channel, and the classic SSL E-Channel gives you the EQ of the famous Black Knob equalizer, which George Martin had a hand in designing, complete with an 18dB/octave highpass filter and enhanced cut and boost ranges. The dynamics portion of the E-Channel has a compressor and expander based on the SSL LS611E. This versatile compressor features an auto-sensing function, which will react according to the material; makeup gain is automatically calculated and applied giving you a consistent output level. I mix hip hop music and these are definitely the best plug-in's I have ever heard. Using the eq you can add a great top end to a vocal, really any instrument at that, and really brighten up the mix.
