Small Signature Line Array for Stage, Churches, Auditoriums, or Theme Parks Specifically designed to complement Peavey's full line of Sanctuary mixers and power amps, the SSE LA is a compound-radius, curved line array that provides a controlled and contoured vertical coverage pattern for improved intelligibility in larger or more reverberant spaces. The smooth curve of the array allows the SSE LA to be flown much lower than most "J-style" arrays, increasing the flexibility and utility in spaces with lower ceilings. Unique compound-radius, curved line array The newest addition to the Peavey Sanctuary Series, the SSE LA is a compound radius, curved line array that delivers a controlled, contoured vertical coverage pattern. The net result is greatly improved intelligibility in larger, more reverberant halls, churches and auditoriums. The dual-coverage pattern provides 20 degrees of vertical coverage for the primary long-throw pattern and 40 degrees of vertical coverage for the secondary near-field pattern. 16 two-inch high performance drivers No, you didn't read that wrong. There actually are 16 two-inch drivers onboard the Peavey SSE LA. The smaller drivers don't have to move as much air as standard speakers, so they respond much faster to an audio signal, thus providing a cleaner, more focused sound with a rich, resonant low midrange. This also happens to make the SSE LA a perfect match for the Sanctuary Series Subwoofer. Near-field pattern attenuation switch A special attenuation switch for the near-field pattern reduces the output so that it does not overpower the audience just below and in front of the array. This results in greater flexibility when determining "flying" height. There's also a processor-based crossover and EQ onboard for maximum performance. Incorporates flying points for easy suspension For easy mounting, the SSE LA incorporates special flying points which make suspension of the array much simpler. In fact, the smooth curve of the array allows the SSE LA to be flown much lower than most "J-style" arrays, which is particularly important when dealing with spaces that have relatively low ceilings.
