The Only Drums! This is the drums I've been looking for! I worked with drumming sofware in the past, but never have I heard such a true, powerful, open sounding drum sound! It's real, and in some ways better then real!!! Buy this drumming software, or don't buy drumming software!

Everything that has been said needs repeating!!!A friend had been raving about these for over a year but I seemed to always have something else I wanted to buy. There is no telling how much money I've spent on different mic's and hours I've spent trying to learn new micing techniques, eq tricks, and mixing advice when this could have solved all of those. I know everyone is partial to this mic or that and this kit vs that kit but I would bet there aren't more than a handful of studios in the world that can produce these huge drums with so little effort. My clients faces light up when they hear these drums cutting though the mix and having so many options to choose from. Guitarist have so many amps at there disposal to shape their sound now so do drummers. AMAZING TOOL FOR ANY LEVEL STUDIO but especially if your working in a small drum room. These work great with my Roland V-Drum Kit as well at my M-Audio Key Studio and now they've released the Trigger Plug-in which boast the most accurate drum replacement engine available.
Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy these and the new Trigger Plug-in A.S.A.P. You'll save hours of time and even if you have a great drum room your going to get these sounds with so much less work.

Worth every penny!!!The sounds inside this software are amazing. I have some of the drums and cymbals that they sampled for this software and I'd have to say you can't really tell the difference. The samples are fantastic out of the box, but the fact that you can still go in and tweak each one and add fx to them is awesome. I've been researching drum software for a while and finally made up my mind to go with these. If you play on a roland kit these are what you need. They're already mapped out for them. Its also nice that you can use these a a plug-in or as a stand alone instrument. I just can't say enough about them. Also this was my first time dealing with Sweetwater and I'd have to say the other guys "And you know who you are", you need to pick up the pace on customer service because Sweetwater has you beat!!!

Proof is in the PuddingSo I took some raw wave files from a prospective client and Drumagog'ed the six drum tracks with either native drumagog samples, or Steve Slate drum samples. Without knowing where/who the samples came from, the client consistently 'liked' the Steve Slate drum samples better than the others. What does that say? To me it says that Steve's samples are good enough for anyone to detect the quality difference and prefer them. Steve slates samples will make your rock/metal records much, much better than they would have been without them. So set your 'drum miking' pride aside and buy them.

These are incredible!I can't say enough great things about this program. Very easy to use and it sounds amazing. The snares cut through, the rides have just the right amount of clang, and the bass drums are well defined and deep. The humanize function also works very well and "humanizes" in the RIGHT places.
I don't want to denigrate other drum sampling programs that I have owned so I won't mention any names but this is hands down, in the top 3!! Buy it!

WOW, amazing soundsI got the Steven Slate drums after hearing that they were used in the latest P.O.D. album, which has some amazing drum sounds. I loaded up an old mix in Pro Tools and replaced the kick and snare with some of the Slate samples with Sound Replacer. WOW is all I can say. The mix had that "pro" larger then life sound. Finally a product that lives up to the hype. The clients go nuts after hearing these drums, highly recommended.

Outstanding! If you want fantastic sounding drums with little hassle, THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. Whenever I use Steven Slate samples, I watch my clients mouths drop open.
I own Steven Slate Drum Samples 1.5 and I use it with Drumagog. It is truly one of my secret weapons for any time I need fat processed sounding drums. Steven Slate knows how to make huge drum sounds (I mean huge) that many of us spend hours on hours trying to create. These sounds are thick and have cut through all of my mixes. The separate room samples allow you to mix room to taste and the room samples are some of the best I've heard.
Beyond that, 2.0 adds so many more kits including cymbals. Rumors are that the next version will include its own sampler engine (beware Addictive Drums and EZ Drummer).
When it comes to processed drum sounds, it just doesn't get better then this. Plus the support has been great. When I had a question, I got a personal email from Steven himself.
