Just got my special order Vintage Cream SSC-55 yesterday...it'll take sometime before I can truly rate this guitar. But, here are my initial impressions after playing for a couple hours.October 6, 2010 Music Background: ... read more [+]> It's manufactured well and has lots of tonal variety...especially if you run it straight into an amp. The pickups sound really good at the humbucker and P-90 positions; not sure about the single coil position yet. My dislikes at this point are just my opinion and may not reflect other players. I wish the fretboard radius had a bit more curve to it and overall playing seems to leave me a bit cold in the vibe department. It achieves it's goal of trying to be many things to many people. I just wish I felt a little more "warmth" while playing it (one of those intangibles that make some guitars feel great). close [-]
