Capable of latching in an open or closed position, the shelf slides on ball bearings and extends a full 14". A telescopic rear support mounts the shelf to any rack (rear rackrail required in steel racks). Occupies slightly more than a single rackspace.

This is another Middle Atlantic Product that is better designed and manufactured than the other guys. I have used this product before and it is still the best way to get a mixer in a rack that allows... read more [+] easy access but, keeps the knobs away from the unwashed and untrained that know about pro audio because they have a new car stereo that stalls out the car when the bass boom is hit. It has a nice smooth slide and lock into place well. I only marked it down because no manor of cable screening is included. You can get a cable worked down in the space and the shelf will be blocked when you push the shelf back in the rack. I will use it again as needed. close [-]
