Magnificent!

This can possibly be the best Rhodes (and Clav)simulation on the market. If you're looking for just the right EP or Clav sound, the SRX-12 is a must, especially if you own a Fantom X keyboard. The package comes with a CD ROM to update your Fantom X to version 2.1. This will add two new piano mode screens (SRX-12 EP and SRX-12 Clav). Adjust the condition of your Rhodes or Wurly sound from vintage to mint, adjust the tremolo rate and depth, add some chorus or phaser, adjust the EQ and so on...this works just like a plugin on your computer. Not only is it authentic, it's so much fun to play!

Perfect Rhodes

I have the Roland RD700sx and if you want an authentic "growly" Rhodes sound (great for jazz), I couldn't recommend this more highly. As others have mentioned, you can hear the volume splits - but only if you're looking for them. In actual use the SRX-12 is superb for the many varieties of Rhodes included. I don't know much about clavs, but they seem OK. The wurlys are terrible!...but I bought it for the Rhodes, and this feels like I'm playing the real thing.
