I just borrowed a pair of these as my system was in the shop. They're awful! Now, I AM a Mackie fan. I used to own three SRM450s, first edition. Great speakers. I own a very fine Mackie Onyx 1620 mixe... read more [+]r. But these little guys were buzzy and distorted at any volume. (Yes, I know how to adjust levels, etc, etc.) Checked my mixer via headphones to make sure. Mixer is fine. The owner of these got them as replacements for the first set of them that went bad.
